SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS
At SPAN, personalized learning is a method of teaching and learning. Students are helped to set realistic goals and the system of assessment that is based on self comparisons gently moves students to higher performance targets.
We expect that the rules laid down by the school will be followed by the children with a sense of sincerity and responsibility.
Students are requested to be inside the school campus 10 minutes before the first bell. We understand that our students are too young to reach the school on time on their own. Hence parents should take the responsibility of instilling the importance of being punctual from a very young age.
For students to derive maximum benefit from the school’s teaching programme, it is essential that they develop habits of punctuality, self-discipline and responsibility. Late arrival upsets and disrupts the class schedules. 80% attendance during the academic year is a pre-requisite for promotion. If not, the student will not be allowed to appear for the final exam.
In case of absence of student, parents are requested to keep the school informed. A note from the parent addressed to the class-teacher reasoning for the absence is mandatory.
In case of heavy rainfalls, bandhs, etc., the school will be responsible to communicate about it to the parents. A rain-tree will be made and parents are requested to follow the instructions.
All students are to be neatly dressed in school uniforms during the school hours, school trips and official gatherings. The uniform has been adapted to the students need and comfort with an Islamic perspective.
Students are not permitted to have their possessions like comic books, toys, cell-phones,walk-man etc, during school hours. The school reserves the rights to confiscate, if any such item is found with students.
SICKNESS AND MEDICAL ISSUE
In case of emergency, the school shall take appropriate steps to provide first-aid to the child before calling you for assistance. In the interest of everyone concerned, the school reserves the right to deny permission to attend class if the student suffers from any serious or contagious ailments.
CHANGE OF ADDRESS
Parents must intimate the school of any changes pertaining to their address or telephone numbers to enable the school to reach them when required.
Transport arrangements have been outsourced through private van/bus approved by the school.
WITHDRAWAL AND DISMISSAL
Students are admitted in the school on the understanding that they will remain in the school at least for the entire academic year. However, parents desirous of withdrawing their child before the end of the academic year may do so, by giving a requisition in writing along with the payment of fee in full for the whole year.
